Background
Amanda is a Monash University student undertaking her Honours year. Prior to joining SAEF, she did a double degree in Arts and Science, completing majors in zoology and archaeology, and minors in earth science and history. Her research interests include conservation biology, ecology and biodiversity studies, as well as climate change. Amanda thinks that Antarctic research plays a crucial role in studying the implications of a range of environmental stressors, including the effects of climate change and the global spread of pollutants.
