Genie Fleming

Genie is an ecologist with broad experience managing and conducting field-based, conservation-oriented research in both urban settings and natural terrestrial communities ranging from subtropical forest to desert. She is particularly interested in how anthropogenic disturbance and environmental change influence structure and composition of plant and animal communities. Within SAEF, Genie will support the Program Team with logistics-related administration to help manage science implementation in the field.

“Antarctica is a truly unique natural environment but also, given the phenomenon of rapid global climate change, one of critical importance to conservation of natural and human communities more broadly.”
