Jon Cox
Jon is SAEF’s proposal development manager. He is an earth scientist by background and training and has spent 20 years supporting fund raising for climate and earth systems science research.
He worked at the University of Oxford for over a decade and then at the University of Copenhagen. Most recently – before moving to Melbourne with his family – Jon worked in the UN system for four years, at the World Meteorological Organisation in Geneva.
Antarctica is a beautiful and fascinating continent of fundamental importance to our planet’s biodiversity, oceans, and climate: we should all care that it’s preserved, documented, and protected from exploitation.
