Michael Bode


Michael is SAEF’s Deputy Director of Capability Development, based at the Queensland University of Technology. Michael’s research program in SAEF focused on the conservation of Antarctic biodiversity, and specifically on how the unusual structures and dynamics of Antarctic governance affect what conservation science can achieve. Michael is a mathematician, and he is therefore also interested in the development of novel quantitative and modelling tools.
