Background
Xiaotian Zheng’s research interests lie broadly in developing statistical models for spatially and temporally dependent data, always with a Bayesian inference paradigm that provides uncertainty quantification. His research with SAEF involves data fusion and statistical downscaling for regional climate variables. These variables will be used to answer scientific questions about Antarctica’s climate and biodiversity.
