Grant Duffy

Grant is an ecologist who seeks to integrate field, laboratory, and desktop-based methods and data. He has specific interests in ecological modelling and geospatial analyse, which he regularly uses to answer a range of ecological questions across the marine and terrestrial realms. This research has had broad applications, ranging from forecasting alien species invasions to characterising human heat-stress in tropical cities.

Working with SAEF Grant hopes to contribute to improved monitoring and a better understanding of Antarctic biodiversity, and how it may be threatened by and adapt to future environmental and ecological change.
