Maria Kleshnina

Maria is a game theorist with the focus on strategic decision making in groups, especially, in the presence of inequality. Previously, her research was focused on understanding how interplay of inequality and other mechanisms (such as information, decision-making policies, etc) affect the evolution of social behaviour. Now, Maria is interested in how to make better environmental decisions by using insights from behavioural and evolutionary sciences.

“Antarctica’s environmental future exposes the need for finding ways to cooperate and coordinate, which if successful gives hope for the rest of the world.”
